I'll weigh in. The song has grown on me, but ever since the fan iPod video, I still think of it being perfect for a commercial. His video is teh cuteness and comes off as casual, unscripted, and well produced (but not over produced).

I've heard rumour that his next video will feature footage of him swilling copious amounts of an unidentified brown liquid before running over a box of puppies with a red Mustang -- puppies he didn't see because he was having drunken sex behind the wheel of a moving vehicle. Shirtless, of course.
He'll be smiling the whole time, though, so maybe that won't solve the whole "too happy" thing.
